Angelo Zambaiti, born in 1907, starts very early the activity of hawker and merchant of textile products.

In 1936, skilfully assisted by the wife Angela, he opens the first retail shop in Cagliari, starting in this way the entrepreneurial adventure of Zambaiti family.

1948 The the first manufacturing plant is founded which will become in the years, the Zambaiti Group.

Since then and until the present time, the store of entrepreneurial experiences of Zambaiti family, the founder and the 4 sons, Ginetto, Giancarlo, Martino and Ferruccio, has been enriched day by day.

1954 Ginetto quits the activity of professional football player in order to support and later to succeed his father Angelo in managing the Copertificio which will be developed in a substantial way in the coming years.

1966 Giancarlo Zambaiti starts the activity of Cotonificio Zambaiti.

Martino, in the coming years, gives a great boost to the development of marketing distribution thanks to the opening, before in Cernusco and after in Lacchiarella, of the first wholesaling centres of textile distribution.

1974 Ferruccio Zambaiti founded Zambaiti Parati, now leader in its field in Italy

Zambaiti Group now has 12 factories in Italy, 4 in Europe, one in the U.S. and one in China.

The labour force amounts to almost 1.540 people, all qualified and strongly motivated.

Cotonificio Honegger Spa manufactures fine cotton shirt fabrics.

Zambaiti Distribuzione Tessile Spa, which manages and coordinates a number of wholesalers specialized in the distribution and sale of clothing, house textiles and ready-to-wear fashion.
